See, it would normally be forgiveable in high school, when he wasn’t even a legal adult. If he had volunteered the information earlier, and taken responsibility for it, and apologized. Then there would be no problem – people would already have forgotten about it, more likely than not.
But his stunning hypocrisy in trying to slime the Conservatives as racist for similar (or even lesser) past transgressions is just too much.
