Cloud somethings

I told my Mom I was having having a hard time painting clouds. She told me to use my thumb. I had so much fun, I used my thumb for most of this one. What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Joey is undecided.

That’s because Joey relies on you to survive, so he’s smart enough not to become a faux art critic.

I like it. It has a peaceful and soothing quality. Why not send it to the Prime Minister? He could use a little soothing and peace right now.

Yes and no. The thumb technique is a great idea, but your clouds are too uniform and I guess represent your right thumb. Maybe drag them a bit more.

Maybe try for some mackerel sky or mares tails. But it has to coincide with the weather too. “Mackeral skies and mares tails, tall ships carry low sails.”

Anyway what do I know about such refineries, I think you do a great job.

One more thing, the clouds draw your eye to the bottom right of your painting, and I’m not sure why. Is there something there you want us to see? It looks like a gathering storm maybe?

Anyway-you are a multi talented dude!

Sorry, Warren, but your artistic talent is overshadowed by the cuteness of your pup!
