Reminds me of when Doc Brown decided to destroy the time machine AFTER Biff ruins Hill Valley…
Watching the proceedings… Holy smokes, Lindsey Graham is eloquent, but more slippery than a snake swimming in engine oil.
Lets appreciate the splendid deliciousness of Republican Senators demonstrating varying stages of grief all in the same session:
Shock: McConnel
Denial: Sasse, Lankford
Bargaining: Cruz
Depression: Pence
Testing: Hawley
Acceptance: Romney
That’s funny I was thinking he really has been Nero during the whole pandemic. I wonder if he’ll be removed from office before Jan 20th now.
Not up on Nero so much though I have heard the reference before. However, I have avoided this reference for four years; Trump’s final days remind me far more of a more recent mad man who holed up in Germany toward the end of the Second World War. By no means is there as much blood on his hands but, there is blood on his hands, this past day is entirely his fault and fanatics follow him as blindly as the Nazi party followed. Another Warren post speaks of hope. Let’s hope this is the end of this and not the beginning. Let’s hope Lincoln like Republicans can take back their party and that moderate Democrats can push their own extremists to the sideline. Finally let’s hope that the Trump presidential library is established in Leavenworth or maybe repurpose Alcatraz either way with the mad man as the curator for the remainder of his life.
12 hours? Just enough time for Agolf to figure out how to change the strings on his fiddle and start playing his next composition.
