       Under normal circumstances, I would absolutely be up for that. But after the Trump spark sent menacing hordes towards Capitol Hill, I worry that the next spark could have far greater consequences. In short, light a spark that degenerates into a second civil war. So, even though I would have to bend over backwards to do it, even though Trump is a POS, I would vote for acquittal at trial in the Senate. IMHO, the stakes now are simply too high and far too dangerous. War is never totally just and innocent civilians ultimately always pay a very high and often lethal price.

   Meanwhile, the fever swamp in the True North are mourning the death of Kathy Shaidle, late of Warren’s list of Jerks.

   Kathy liked to boast that the New York Times would close down in her lifetime. In the event, she got to live to see the downfall of Donald Trump.

   In the interest of not speaking ill of the dead, I’ll leave it at that.
