—St. Ignatius of Loyola
This is St. Ignatius of Loyola Chapel in Montreal, where my parents were married, where I was baptized, where I attended Loyola High on my first day, where family funerals have taken place. It was painted by our friend Stew Jones and given to me by E. for my birthday last night. What do you think?
Warren,
(First off, E. = heart of gold.)
Majestic.
I was also baptized there, but my Catholicism ended very soon after when we moved to Lachine and no English Catholic schools were available.
I think it is a beautiful painting, an a thoughtful gift from someone who cares about you. BTW, happy birthday and many happy returns. PS I turn 66 tomorrow.
Me too!
I think it’s a beautiful painting. I like the color.
