As long as some of us are alive, there will never, ever, be a Kristallnacht here in Canada. If push comes to shove, then so be it. Meanwhile, as you said, we need to support the Jewish community and Israel. In my case, that will mean a new purchase at Simons next week.

I’ve been following the events in Toronto and NY lately. I’ve been to both cities many times and my favorite thing about these cities is that you never see any of that bullshit there.
Many people might not like Toronto and NY – I get it they are big, noisy, elitist, bad traffic etc., but there is a sort of quiet magic in these places, whereby every culture from every corner of the world can cool it and just be themselves.
This crazy world needs a little more Toronto and NY, not the other way around.

So glad to see this. All communities should follow this example when hate speech is used against them. Hit them in the wallet. Nothing concentrates the mind better when it comes to implementing change that is absolutely necessary.
