It is time for you to bear witness.

This is some of what I saw. It is horrible but some of us – perhaps you – are called to bear witness, and act.

Here.

  1. Warren,

I apologize for not being strong enough psychologically to watch this. What I did see, quite by accident, was a picture of a young blonde female lying on her stomach. She was naked from the waist down with her purple panties still attached to her left leg. Quite obviously, she had been sexually assaulted (raped) and then killed. Monsters and demons.

Team Trudeau wants to bring lots of the Hamas perpetrators to Canada.

    How will they identify Hamas? Team Trudeau says they’ll vet Palestinian refugees. I imagine it will be some version of this;
    – Mr Refugee are you Hamas? No? Okay, welcome to Canada.

And if the refugees are not direct Hamas members, remember they danced for joy at the news of Oct 7. And they want to do it again.

They didn’t all do it. A lot did, sure. Everyone who showed up that morning in their brightest green and black outfits to cheer, I called a disgusting sick fuck and said I’d never support their businesses again.

But the aftermath has unveiled additional bleakness- uncompromising hardliners who think that invalidating everything about Palestinian existence is somehow righteous. Which will only embolden the jihadists, even if a million die.

My fear is that we were so quick to encourage vengeance that we didn’t stop to consider the possibility that is exactly what Hamas leadership wanted.

      • Peter Williams says:

        Vengeance?

Wanting to stop Hamas from doing it again, and again, and again, is vengeance? No it isn’t.

Hamas and the Palestinians can end this. But they don’t want to. They’ve said they’re going to repeat this again, and again, and again, until all the Jews are gone.

        • Jason says:

You’re absolutely right. They DON’T want this to end. They’re gaining global support daily, civilian massacre be damned.

Anyone thinking this ends with advanced security for Israel – or any other nation – isn’t paying attention.

          • Peter Williams says:

Israel’s choice? Let Hamas kill all its people, or try to destroy Hamas.

Jews have already learned what happens when you turn the other cheek to people who’s stated goal is to kill them.

It’s horrifying and I hope every perpetrator of that attack is put down like a rabid dog.

I’m just not sure how continuous carpet bombing of the strip helps, and in fact I’m both convinced and terrified that it will only inspire more of this.

Worked in the forces with a fellow who had front row seats to Rwanda. When he drank and started talking about what he experienced you had to leave or you’d inherit some of his trauma. Last I heard he had an “accident” in his garage.

  6. Wink,

What the real deal for PTSD? Do they periodically and regularly screen active duty and reserves while in theatre or upon returning to Canada? Do they do the same for discharged veterans? Seem like so much of a no-brainer to me. I blame all levels of government for often dropping this ball. Emergency response personnel and prison guards should also be followed as well.

    • Wink Dinkerson says:

During that period (Yugoslavia, Rwanda) they just treated you like a piece of shit till you went back on tour, got out/kicked out or had alittle “accident”. After the first tour in Afghanistan things got better, screening, treatment and so on.
