  1. Daniel W Hubbert says:

G.M. Well you say ( no 1 gets into politics for the money ) Well with help from his father Trudeau was worth about 10 million $s in 2015, he is now worth 128 million . He has been making over 1 million a month after taxes , ever month that he has been P.M. Also on your next podcast with Brian and Adrienne would you mind listing some of the not so bad things Trudeau has done ? Mr Kinsella your true liberal colors are difficult to hide. I bet my house in the next election no way would you even consider voting for Poilievre, even though you know he is they only real alterative . TY for letting me speak my mind T.C.

  2. Douglas W says:

If the Conservative strategy is to suck the Liberals into calling an election this year, then the issue that will trigger a vote will be the matter of trans kids.

Liberals will think that they can paint the Conservatives as intolerant.
Conservative response: go ahead and try and paint us as intolerant.
    Call a vote.

  3. Douglas W says:

    RFK Jr.:

    1) leads amongst independent voters. For the first time ever, there are more registered independent voters than registered Republicans or registered Democrats.
    2) death of his Dad: autopsy report showed that the bullet that ultimately killed his father was shot from behind. Sirhan Sirhan was facing his father.
    3) Absolutely: RFK Jr. hurts Trump more than Biden. That said, RFK Jr.’s hardline position on immigration would definitely find traction with middle-of-the-road/suburban Democrats.

  4. Warren,

Congrats on 300! Quite an achievement.

You know you’ve made it in politics when even those who hate your fucking guts are glued each weekend to the Kinsellacast, as they should be.

  5. Warren,

Yeah, it looks like an NDP win to me. Trudeau is so disliked if not hated at this point, so the Liberals won’t end up getting the credit when the election finally takes place.

    • Douglas W says:

Not much of a pharmacare deal.
Insulin and birth control, some of which many provinces already cover.
      Expected something far more comprehensive.

No clear winner on this one, although it buys Liberals and New Democrats at least another 12 months of pay cheques.

    • Peter Williams says:

The NDP and Liberals reached an agreement on Pharmacare?

It’s a press release agreement. We’ll see how long it takes to make its way through Parliament. I think Trudeau will try to make it an election issue.

I’m betting the NDP will continue to support the Liberals in shutting down all committee investigations of ArriveScam and other spending with GC Strategies

  6. Warren,

They couldn’t find out who signed the contract? Of course, they can’t because it was quite deliberately planned that way so no one could ever pin this boondoggle on the Trudeau Liberal donkey.

  7. Warren,

Any guy in power who gets an “unsolicited” birthday present where his main opponent quite literally disappears from the planet says all you need to know about the embedded Putin regime. They want WWIII and will do whatever it takes to make sure it ultimately comes about so they can seize as much of NATO territory as they possibly can in that war.

  8. Warren,

Trans issues are the thinning ice under Poilièvre’s feet. If we blow it in the end, it will be because of how Pierre addresses these types of social issues. This one, by itself, has only made a first gash. What about the next one?

    • Martin Dixon says:

Ronald, agree with Douglas W that it will be fine.

    • Douglas W says:

Observed Poilièvre this weekend by way of social media.
Campaigning full tilt in K-W, Cambridge, London, all the way down to Windsor.
As if he’s on the second-to-last day of an election campaign.
Givin’ him props: he’s getting out and talking to people in person; talking to folks about matters that keep them up at night.
Sure, he could still slip on a banana peel but … it’s been quite a while since I’ve seen someone in the political arena that actually has purpose and giddy up.
For now, at least, he gets it.

  9. Warren,

Indicting Trump only makes him stronger? Bullshit. It only makes him “stronger” with the lunatic MAGA base. He will be convicted on at least one count, and that’s the likely game changer going into November.

    • Douglas W says:

      Stronger?
Sure, he’s winning primaries but … his rival is still getting 40%.
Why isn’t Trump crushing it amongst Republicans?
Shouldn’t he at least be winning with 70-75% of the vote in a primary?
      He should be worried.
Lots of hesitation out there in the GOP.

      • Douglas,

Trump had predicted 70-30. At least both God and Jesus don’t want that POS back as President. Makes me even more of a believer in the Almighty. Keeping the faith!

        • Douglas W says:

Read this morning that Republican Party Chair Ronna McDaniel is stepping down on March 8th.

Translation: she wants nothing to do with the Donald.

          • Douglas,

Now, the POS wants the RNC to also pay his legal bills. It’s not enough that his PAC is already doing that…drop dead, KingLoserTM!

That’s why dear Lara is going to the RNC, along with another ass-kisser and boot licker.

  10. Warren,

Trudeau is on the wrong side of history as it relates to the Hamas-induced terrorist war. Historians will not be kind, to say the very least.

  11. Martin Dixon says:

Have to wonder who the 12% are who want him to continue as PM-I think most of them are on Twitter. Lots of great tunes especially the Sorority Noise. Must go listen to the earlier shows if you think you have moved a way from punk!

  12. Warren,

My Dad paid when we bought Olympic Lottery tickets in 1976. I paid him back for mine. Never bought another ticket after that. Used to joke that it’s a lot faster to simply flush your twenty down the bowl.

    • Peter Williams says:

I remember the Olympic lottery. I had a ticket that was 1 off the $1 million dollar winning number. Unfortunately it was the last digit so I didn’t win a thing.

  13. Warren,

The Irish bet makers are on target for now. But just wait until the term convicted felon gets into the mix. Then, quite likely, it’s a whole new political ballgame which will save Biden’s ass, cause nothing else will.

  14. Warren,

Well, Hillary WAS a Republican until she married Bill. (I also supported the Iraq War.)

  15. Warren,

If Biden was going to bow out, he would have done it before Iowa. He’s in, come glory or disaster. Biden is a fighter and relishes the idea of taken on Trump again.

  16. Peter Williams says:

Trudeau to introduce Online Harms Act.

This will be a boon to the Liberal Party. Any criticism of the Dear Leader could be construed as harmful.

The left and far left will weaponize this.
    – Support Israel? Complaints will come alleging harm to Palestinians.
    – Disagree with any government or ‘progressive’ policy? Complaints will come in.

Doesn’t matter if there is an appeals process that after several steps, ends up before an independent judge; the process is the punishment.

    Reminds me of ‘anti-Soviet agitation’.

  17. Sean says:

My only qualm with this podcast is that people need to stop referring to the JFK assassination conspiracy as a “theory”. It is an established fact, plain and simple and should frequently be acknowledged as such. The oddball notion that LHO acted alone was always grasping at straws / eccentric / unhinged / directly contradicted by hard evidence.

    • Sean,

My money remains on the Texas mafia. That’s why LBJ suddenly decided not to run nor accept his party’s nomination. Ties too close to home, even if he likely wasn’t personally involved.
