Who will lead us?

Vandalism, blocking public roads, and acts of intimidation are all criminal offences. Wearing a mask while doing any of those things is another criminal offence. There is no shortage of laws on the books to deal with this madness.

What we lack is leadership.

Progressives seem quite happy with the current state of affairs.

Why are the Toronto police officers, not arresting “protesters” who are harassing and intimidating hospital patients and health care workers? Why is the Toronto police chief not ordering them to do their job? And why is the Toronto mayor not ordering the police chief to do his job? What are they waiting for – for somebody to be killed?

Want to see more of the same closer to home? Then just give Plante a call. She’s no better than Chow.

Hospitals are under enough stress. The staff are overworked and patients are often navigating life altering events – do they really need antivaxers and pro Hamas rallies? No, they sure don’t need that. I can’t imagine, when I was doing chemo, how I would feel about this kind of behavior – not good, to put it mildly. I would send the cops in with clubs to beat them away from hospitals, and they’d have it coming.

Agreed – so the next time there is a pipeline blockade, or a landfill blockade like here in Winnipeg, I hope they are treated quite harshly.
I wasn’t a fan of the trucker blockades whatsoever, but it was quite instructive how differently they were handled versus the aforementioned pipeline blockades.
