  1. Warren,

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you, your family and all listeners and readers here.

  2. Warren,

Hollywood, more often than not, is singularly insular, clueless and lazy. And most of them aren’t very nice people. They grabbed onto this without researching both sides and seeing each side’s legitimate grievances as a people. Those chose one side solely because it’s in vogue. And to hell with the other side, they collectively surmised.

  3. Warren,

Gantz and Gallant need to leave the unity national government now. Not later, at some as yet undefined moment.

  4. Warren,

Only the Knesset can proceed to early elections, and I just don’t see the numbers there to defeat this government in parliament.

  5. Martin Dixon says:

    “They are arguably adults.” Funny

Love MBV’s Loveless. Favourite track is Soon which is so good Coldplay ripped it off to record Lovers In Japan.

  6. Warren,

Any politician who isn’t kind to human beings and to the electorate will go nowhere in the polls. Obviously, Pierre isn’t the POS that, so many would like to make him out to be. If he was, I’d be taking him on with gusto. (Just another promise of mine that you could take to the bank.)

  7. Warren,

I’m back to he’s not leaving. Why, because as you’ve said, the moment you say you’re officially going, you’re toast. IMHO, Trudeau is in the worst of both worlds: he literally said he thinks about quitting every day — and that in and of itself will begin to seriously undermine his leadership and credibility as PM.

    • Peter Williams says:

Trudeau says he thinks about leaving every day?

      I don’t think Trudeau’s going to leave:

      1. He lies. He lies a lot.

      2. He’s trolling us.

      3. What would he do if he wasn’t PM? Who’d give him a job? Where could he get a job where no one would hold him accountable for his performance or actions? Blaming his predecessor won’t cut it with a real boss.

      • Peter Williams says:

On second thought, maybe Justin is waiting for a consulting job to open up in Beijing?

        • Martin Dixon says:

Ha, I have been mentioning his lack of job prospects as an issue too. The bloom has clearly gone off the rose since he was the talk of the town in 2015. Although, if one believes the reports, like the rest of the 1%, he has done extremely well in the last 8.5 years so he will be fine, regardless. The dirty little secret people seem generally disinterested in when they point out how Pierre is only in it for the rich and I point the above out. If that is the case, the rich will do very very well if Pierre can improve on Justin’s record on behalf of the 1%. Justin’s fans fell for the baubles and thought Justin was doing something because he raised taxes on the rich a smidge and took away a few bucks in child credits. Meanwhile his policies generated a massive wealth shift. The 1% thanks him for his service.

    • Douglas W says:

Ronald, agreed: JT cannot walk back those words.
      He’s tormented.
      Will he snap?

  8. (Looks like we lost the last part of the Kinsellacast.)

  9. Warren,

It seems that the head asshole was lying in April 2023 when he testified that he had substantially in excess of 400 million in cash. What a surprise…now we find out that he can’t make bond in the amount of 464 million. No kidding. He’s contacted 30 surety companies and none of them want to provide the bond. As usual, such a lying POS.

  10. Warren,

    Holy shit!

    From Daily Mail:

“Keith Olbermann says there’s ‘always the hope’ Trump is assassinated”

No one should ever SAY such a thing publicly or privately.

  11. Warren,

Am I crazy, or what? Seems to me that if you want to trigger a Carbon Tax Election, you pretty much have to make damned sure ahead of time that you’ve already got the votes to ram it home. Isn’t that logical? Otherwise, it’s nothing more than a stunt.

“Poilievre wants to topple the Liberal government with a non-confidence motion on the carbon tax

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre introduced a non-confidence motion Wednesday that’s designed to topple the government and trigger a federal election — a parliamentary manoeuvre that’s likely to fail.

Poilievre and his party are ramping up the pressure on the Liberal government to drop a plan to increase the federal carbon tax.”

  12. Warren,

Well, I guess it’s coming — unless you know who is taken out internally — too bad millions will have to die but c’est la vie…

    From RBC Ukraine:

“NATO ready for potential conflict with Russia, top admiral says

NATO states are prepared for a potential military conflict with Russia, says NATO Military Committee Chair Rob Bauer in an interview with ArmyInform.

Bauer says that NATO understood the change in the security situation as early as 2014, after the Russian occupation of Crimea.

Since 2019, NATO states have begun to return to collective security: they have changed their defense strategy, operational planning, and forces needed to carry out all these tasks.

“Now we all understand that in returning to collective security, time is not on our side. Because the enemy decides when and where they attack you, and how long the conflict will last. Unfortunately, Ukraine has experienced this,” said the NATO admiral.

When asked if the Alliance is ready for a conflict with Russia, he answered, “Yes.”

  13. From: Metro

“Warning that Putin ‘is plotting for war with NATO sooner than expected’

Russia appears to be preparing for a large-scale conflict with NATO sooner than expected, a think tank has warned. American policy research group The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reached the conclusion after analysing military, economic and financial indicators.

President Vladimir Putin’s attempts to stabilise Russia’s economy are said to be part of preparations for a potential future large-scale conflict with NATO, not just for a protracted war in Ukraine. According to the ISW assessment, the Russian military is making reforms so it can keep fighting in Ukraine while also expanding its conventional capabilities in case it decides to ramp up the aggression.”
