Even this budget would have been a much easier sell if not for one thing. Because no one is leaving the country or not investing in businesses because of it. That’s just silly. All they had to do was not give the 250k 50% inclusion break to everyone OR give it to the corporations. Simple. Now there is no easy fix to basically pacify the docs. If no one in Finance could have predicted this problem, then they are all morons. You could see the problem in about two seconds. If they did know and told the politicos and they ignored the advice, then they are the morons. Pro-tip to Pierre, for when he releases his budgets, get some people in the actual real world looking at them. They would be consultants that would be WORTH paying for.

Wacko? You see, that’s the problem when you’re only an average strategist. (Harper found that out in 2015.) Quite clearly, Pierre should have consulted extensively to come up with something far better and more resounding than wacko…

It was almost funny watching how “polite” they both were in the house today. Way more boring. Trudeau was still more or less still calling Pierre an extremist and Pierre was focusing on the BC drug crisis and bail reform(guy who killed the grandparents and child driving the wrong way on the 401 was out on bail).
