Me in Newsweek on Columbia U. haters

Here:

Similarly, consultant Warren Kinsella said: “At the firm I founded 18 years ago, and in the war rooms I’ve run for the past 31 years, I’ve employed hundreds of young people. I’ll never again hire one from @Columbia.”

According to his website, Kinsella previously founded the Daisy Consulting Group.

In a further statement to Newsweek, Kinsella said: “The anti-bias campaign consultancy I founded nearly 20 years ago in Canada will no longer hire anyone from Columbia. I came to this decision with no enthusiasm—but what is happening at Columbia, and elsewhere, didn’t leave me with any other option. I can’t hire bigots or excuse anti-Semitism.”

  1. Warren,

I believe that young people and other adults can save themselves by way of redemption if they’re genuine. So, I would not be quite as categorical. But yes, if they remain bigoted, immovable and persevere, then I’m all for the course of action that you suggest.

I have enough trouble with the entire notion of painting everyone with the same brush as a matter of principle, but when even Jewish faculty and students at Columbia are insisting these protestors represent a minority of the student body, I think blanket condemnations like this serve to make the problem worse, not better.

Absolutely agree and it could rightly be expanded to include many other campuses. Why should any of these terrorist sympathizers have jobs or careers anywhere? These anti Semitic students and agitators are nothing but cowards wearing their masks harassing and assaulting innocent people. Maybe these tough guys should head over to Gaza for the intifada they’re begging for instead of safely sitting here in Canada and the US.

    Even the Jewish students?

Just watched that ridiculous child demand food and water for the Columbia protestors. It could literally be a SNL skit and it reminds me of the old Steve Martin hostages bit where he demands that the letter M be stricken from the English language.

Columbia has an endowment of over $13 billion. Seems to me to be ripe for a lawsuit or two.
