Between Elon’s recent treatment of Naziism as a joke, and rise of the term « illegals » as a noun, I am very worried we are witnessing our our time a new dehumanization of society’s most vulnerable.

When the Soviet Union imploded and the Warsaw Pact went the way of the dodo bird, I had a very particular reaction. Frankly, I did not want to see Germany reunited as I felt then that they had not paid sufficiently for the Nazis’ sins. But then, eventually, the realpolitik of George H.W. Bush begrudgingly won me over bit by bit.
