Was confused when this occurred, but have to commend the very fine folks from Edmonton now.

Reason I sent my first son to my alma mater there. Plus of course, its Top 4 Canada ranking.

We get it Gord, we get it.

West = GOOD EAST = BAD
Alberta = GOOD Quebec = BAD
Trump = GOOD Trudeau = BAD
America = GOOD Canada = BAD

Your child like insistence that your simplistic world view extrapolated from carefully curated disparate anecdotal “evidence” is not only essential for the survival of the species but requires trumpeting from every soapbox available on ANY fucking corner is hilariously naive and so pathetically earnest it defies logic.

So apparently is your reluctance to migrate to America and help make America Great Again.

God Bless Idiots; I suspect they most of all need all the help they can get from any available deity or laity.

Waiting Trump’s tweet thanking the fine YEG folks since he probably read it over on Steve Bannon’s Breitbart News:

    http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/05/01/watch-canadian-crowd-joins-together-to-sing-u-s-national-anthem-after-singers-mic-fails/

    Comments are interesting.

But will not hold my breath for the tweet.

I’ve always wondered why they play the national anthem before sporting events. Indoctrination? Makes no sense. The NHL is a business. Nothing more. Do we all sing the national anthem before being let into Walmart?

They still sing/play the National Anthem at the start of every day at some schools.

Growing up, we sang it daily. And said the Oath of Allegiance:

I, [name], do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors. So help me God.

You seem to forget that Edmonton fans (vs. Dallas) and Vancouver fans (vs. Colorado) also made news for booing the U.S. anthem in the past. Pretty convenient that you only mention it happening in Montreal.
