I hate these people

I really, truly hate them.

I assume that if Norman sues, the government will settle and the facts will never see the light of day.

  2. Lance says:

Warren, if 25 years ago you could peer into a crystal ball and seen this day, how unbelievable would that seem?

    This is so surreal!0

I am with you. I have called the offices of my local back bench nobody to challenge his ethics, and his loyalty to this bunch. It was easy; he has no ethics, is dumb as a bag of hammers, and does not get what the problem is.

He was reading canned answers to my questions and sounded like a rookie life insurance salesman trying to find the right answer to the question as he flipped through his binder of “proper responses” to customer’s query.

They deserve to be decimated in an election. There is a real problem with understanding what constitutes ethical behavior and rule of law.

Most corrupt in history I would not agree with. But plenty fucking corrupt and unacceptably so in this day and age. I never thought I’d look forward to seeing a Liberal government defeated. Mind you, this is NOT looking forward to a Con govt, but glad to see the back of this PMO.

  5. You know, settlements can be a tricky thing — so many unforeseen snags that suddenly pop up during protracted negotiations.

Where are the real Liberals? Why are they letting this rookie destroy the party? I don’t get the silence (except for Warren)!

    • Fred from BC says:

I’ve been thinking the same. I understand the rookies not wanting to jeopardize their second term (and resulting huge pension),but the ones who are already qualified have no such excuse. Do you really not care about the Liberal Party and what it stands for?

(well, *used to* stand for, anyway…)

      • Fred,

Most of the front rows don’t want to get bounced from cabinet. It’s as simple as that.

      • Mike Jeffries says:

        It’s obvious. We don’t have a democracy!
If the only option for us is to “hate”, to “truly hate” our gov’t then we are like North Korea or Cuba where THAT is the only option! Waiting around four years for the next election isn’t enough.
No, the people need to take back the House. There should be a provision for recall of an MP who isn’t representing his electorate in the House. Would that not be democracy?

Get an eminence grise like Chretien to connect the dots for JT. Only problem is, once JT is gone, you’re left with a club that publicly endorsed his behaviour and excommunicated JWR and Jane P,
