Sent by a regular reader: PetroCanada, wake up

Somebody at PetroCanada/Suncor needs to pull the security tape of this incident, I’d say.  And, I think, fire that franchisee.  The mother needs the Riot Act read to her, too, I think:

Warren: Witnessed a terrible accident at a Petrocanada station (Don Mills & Lawrence)  A mother allowed her 7 yr old son to pump the gas and he took the nozzle out while still holding the handle down.  She wasn’t watching and the child had gas spray ALL OVER his face, eyes, nose and mouth.  I alerted her, he was screaming, I told her to get him into the bathroom, and start flushing with cold water and I callled 911.  The gas station attendants DID NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!  They just went about their business like nothing at all was happening.  I was so shocked that there seemed to be no emergency procedure in place – no special “station” with solution for flushing eyes/mouths…NOTHING.  When I got home, I called Petro Canada and lodged a complaint but they couldn’t care less.  I mean the kid could have burst into flame…it was awful.

Tea Party Tim’s week in review

Tim Hudak’s No Good, Very Bad Week

NEWS

This week, Tim Hudak tried to jump the gun and kick off the provincial election campaign a week early, but stumbled before he even got out of the gate.

On Monday, Hudak showed off his campaign bus, complete with “Change Tim Hudak” slogan. That’s a message that seems to resonate even within his own party, as he also started the week by being cut from his own TV ads.

On Tuesday, Hudak skipped an Eid celebration in Toronto, and then his office lied about not being invited. Then he put up a known conservative in front of the media to pretend to be a non-partisan won over by Hudak’s message.

On Wednesday, former PC premier Ernie Eves said Hudak’s PC were “the Tea Party version of Ontario Politics.” (ctv.ca, August 31, 2011)

Thursday saw Hudak’s approach to politics called “nothing but smoke and mirrors, a dog and pony tax horror show,” (The Trentonian, September 1, 2011). The same day, well-known Conservative pundit Brian MacLeod called Hudak’s planned property tax hike “just a classic bait and switch.” (London Free Press, September 1, 2011)

And all this while continuing in his efforts to do anything and everything to avoid talking about the $14 billion hole in his platform that will require deep cuts to our schools and hospitals to fill. It’s becoming increasingly clear that Tea Party Tim just isn’t worth the risk.

Disaffected PC in Sudbury Star

Tim Hudak losing the support of every previous PC leader…go figure

I just saw this video on Youtube.

As a long time Tory supporter (voted for Harper in the most recent Federal election), it disturbed me to see the way Hudak and his party ousted Norm Sterling, a long time member of the Conservative family.

He held many Cabinet portfolios and was truly a hard working and honest politician, if ever there was one.

I saw this video and it reaffirmed my position this election, I will either be staying home with the many in my family who feel the same way, or will do what I dread and support the libs….I dont want to see Tim Hudak lead this province. He is not a leader but a dishonest and uncompassionate person.

I also saw these articles this morning…
