I post this only to note that various commentators were obviously right when they said that Frank Graves clearly is a Liberal agent provocateur, and his numbers are not ever to be trusted by Conservatives and conservatives.

I suggest who the winner will be, BTW, in my Sun column on Sunday.  Who d’ya think I pick?

(And, also BTW, his support among New Canadians is astonishing – or is it? Worth reading, too.)

I was very, very sad to learn of her death yesterday. The news was broken by the man who is, in fact, her step-father, John Lydon.

Ari was a huge help to me on Fury’s Hour, and I can’t emphasize enough the importance she had – as an artist, as a woman – on the punk movement.

Here’s Ari and the Slits doing ‘Typical Girls.’  She was anything but.

And David Shiller – a.k.a., Davey Snot, the Thriller Shiller – wins.

Toronto lawyer David Shiller, who defends the bubble-blower in the original video, has offered to represent those facing legal action free of charge.

“His case in a very, very real sense threatens peoples’ right to comment on the police conduct at the G20, and that is undeniably a very important and controversial public issue,” Shiller said.

Shiller stumbled upon the bubbles incident while on a stroll through his Parkdale neighbourhood, and said what was captured in the video is only a small part of a greater display of force he describes as “frightening.”

“For a billion dollars, I could’ve got someone with a better attitude,” he tells Const. Josephs in the video, referencing the highly-criticized price tag of the G8 and G20 summits.

Our punk rock brother is all grown up!  He’s using big words and everything!

Mr. Peter Kormos: Of course, the Liberals have just finished their weekend confab during which the keynote speech was on the art of mudslinging.

Well, I read the book just Friday night, after I read that in the paper. But I do notice that there was some material distributed during that weekend confab. I have copies here.

(Blah blah blah.)

This is material that was handed out, I’m told, at the weekend confab by the Liberals where they were being spoken to by the American [sic] king of mudslinging, Warren Kinsella, for whom I have a great deal of admiration and who is, of course, an expert at mudslinging. I only wish he was one of ours, rather than the Liberals.

I like Warren Kinsella.
